Recipe of Homemade Pandesal

- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions for making pancakes
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt.
- Pour in milk, beaten eggs and melted butter. Stir several times until well mixed. Make sure the milk is slightly warm and not hot.
- Add the dry instant yeast and mix until you have a sticky dough.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and knead for about 5-10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Roll the dough into a ball and lightly grease it. Place in a bowl, cover with a cloth or transparent film and place in a warm place and leave to rise until doubled. Depending on how hot it is, it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.
- Knead the dough and divide it into 2 equal parts with a knife or cutter. Make each one a record. Cut each log into 6 small pieces.
- Roll each piece into a ball and roll in breadcrumbs, completely coating each side.
- Place the pieces in a saucepan and leave space between them (at least an inch). Let stand a second time until doubled.
- While you wait, preheat the oven to 185°C. Cook the pandas for 15 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned. Remove from the oven and serve hot!
